The project involves the construction of new commercial areas to be built adjacent to those already existing with a new single-storey building with a surface of about 7.400 m2.
The structure of the building is made of precast reinforced concrete columns and prestressed reinforced concrete beams and slabs.
The building consists of a main block with a rectangular plan of dimensions of approximately 107 m x 63 m and a smaller block having dimensions equal to about 40 m x 17 m; the two macrozones are subdivided by seismic joints.
The roof of the mall area is realized with a glued laminated timber structure.
Because of the bad mechanical characteristics of the soil, foundations consist of footings on large diameter piles.
